Circles of influence (30 mins)
Today we will look at the influences of religion, media, friends, family, society and school on your life.Step 1:
Download the powerpoint template called Influence.ppt
Step 2:
Write your name in the middle of the circles
Step 3:
Drag the factors religion, society, friends etc as close to the middle of the circles depending on how much influence you think that factor as on your life.
For example if you think your life is mainly influenced by your family drag the family nearest to your name in the center, if you think the media is next strongest influence drag them near to you too but not as near as family and so on. See below for example
Step 4:
You should also write a few lines about how you think each of the influences affects you. You can write on the computer or in their copybook.
Step 5:
If you do this with friends or in class compare with each other and discuss.
