Many but One (30 mins)
We are going to take a basic form, the circle and all make a self portrait starting with a circle. This is most fun when done with a group of friends.Step 1:
If you are going to work on the computer, open the worksheet and begin to make a self portrait of your own face using the circle. They can add shapes, symbols, colors, etc. See the example for ideas.
Step 2:
If you are working on paper, draw a big circle on the pager, covering most of the page with a black pen. Then fill in the circle to become a self portrait, You can use any color, shape or symbol you wish.
Step 3:
Note that just as each portrait is different although we used the same circle to start with. So are all the diverse people of Nigeria and indeed the world different but basically the same.
