Performance Objectives

Students should be able to:

  • Define negotiation
  • Give examples of situations that may need negotiation
  • Enumerate factors that influence negotiation.
  • Apply negotiation skills and refusal skills.
  • Discuss the advantages of negotiation.

Lesson Plan

  1. Start with the 'warm up'. This will take about 7 to 10 minutes.
  2. Then let the students read the information in the info-cartoon. Most students will be finished in 12 to 15 minutes.
  3. Round up the lesson with a reflection on what the students have learned.
